Bachchan was initially named Inquilaab, inspired from the famous phrase Inquilab Zindabad, during the Indian independence struggle. However, at the suggestion of fellow poet Sumitranandan Pant, Harivansh Rai changed the name to Amitabh which means, "the light that would never go off." Though his surname was Shrivastava, his father had adopted the pen-name Bachchan (meaning child-like in colloquial Hindi), under which he published all his works. It is with this last name that Amitabh debuted in films, and, for all public purposes, it has become the surname of all members of his family. Bachchan's father died in 2003, and his mother in 2007.

Lyrics to Sinner :
(feat. Scott Russo)
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
[Scott Russo:]
I know, I know, I live the life of a sinner
But when it comes to other women, you're the only one hun so this is the beginning
Let's go, let's go
Let's live the life of a sinner
And we'll be living on the run, right here in the California sun
[Big B:]
First of all I'd like to thank you for accepting this collect call
And to tell you that what you're bout to here is sincere
It's not the drugs or the alcohol
I know you said that it had to end
I don't expect you to bail me out again
But right now girl, you're my only friend
It's true, I did you wrong, for way too long
But that's the past so let's move on
It's a new song, so let it play on and on
From dusk to dawn
'Till the neighbors complain
Or the cops come
[Scott Russo:]
Oh the life of a sinner
[Big B:]
In the California sun
[Scott Russo:]
I know, I know, I live the life of a sinner
But when it comes to other women, you're the only one hun so this is the beginning
Let's go, let's go
Let's live the life of a sinner
And we'll be living on the run, right here in the California sun
[Big B:]
I wouldn't blame you if you just hung up
I understand that you're getting fed up
I can't say that this is the last time that this will happen
But I try, oh yes, I try
I say I wanna change, but I lie, oh yes I lie
And you know I stay consistent, yeah I ain't perfect but at least I admit it
And I ain't never gonna change, and don't forget it.
[Scott Russo:]
I know, I know, I live the life of a sinner
But when it comes to other women, you're the only one hun so this is the beginning
Let's go, let's go
Let's live the life of a sinner
And we'll be living on the run, right here in the California sun
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
[Big B:]
Why don't you come and take a trip on the dark side
Just me and you sitting side by side
You can't knock [? ] until you seen it
I said this'd be the last time but this time I mean it
So let your head down, let your shoes get dirty
Let's take it slow yo there's no need to hurry
I'm a hold your hand the whole way so girl don't worry
No, don't worry
Na na na na na na No don't worry na na na na na na na na na na na na
[Scott Russo:]
I know, I know, I live the life of a sinner
But when it comes to other women, you're the only one hun so this is the beginning
Let's go, let's go
Let's live the life of a sinner
And we'll be living on the run, right here in the California sun
Let's go, let's go
Let's live the life of a sinner
I'm just a regular guy with superstar dreams
If you feel like I feel then you know what I mean
I drink my whiskey out the bottle
Keep my foot on the throttle
I just wanna rock girl, I don't wanna cuddle.
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,
Just me and you.
I Know I ain't realy flash, a matter of fat I'm down and dirty
I'm a little white trashy but I can take you to places you never seen, you think girl that you only dream.
Oh baby, don't hate, you see that truck outside?
Yeah, it's a V8 and it can burn rubber
and we can drive it way into the sunset with each other
you can be my lightning and I can be your thunder,
let's have some fun girl
I'm just a regular guy with superstar dreams
If you feel like I feel then you know what I mean
I drink my whiskey out the bottle
Keep my foot on the throttle
I just wanna rock girl, I don't wanna cuddle.
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,
Just me and you.
Life's short but this opportunity is shorter
Heads or tails with a flip of quarter,
C'mon you only live once and tonight we gonna do whatever you want,
You can show me how to two step
I gotta pistol under the seat,
I'll show you how to use it,
We can drive under the city to see the stars
For tonight baby doll, whatever I got, it's all yours.
I'm just a regular guy with superstar dreams
If you feel like I feel then you know what I mean
I drink my whiskey out the bottle
Keep my foot on the throttle
I just wanna rock girl, I don't wanna cuddle.
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,
Just me and you.
You know you wanna taste the wildside,
You never know til you try
And anything can happen when the two of us collide
But I'm gonna leave it up to you
To decide so let's ride.
Oh you soft like silt, tough like nails the type of girl that likes to kiss but wont tell
I gotta watch myself so I don't fall head over heels.
It don't really matter if you're wearing cowboy boots or high heels
We gonna keep it real,
C'mon
I'm just a regular guy with superstar dreams
If you feel like I feel then you know what I mean
I drink my whiskey out the bottle
Keep my foot on the throttle
I just wanna rock girl, I don't wanna cuddle.
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,
Just me and you.
I'm just a regular guy with superstar dreams
If you feel like I feel then you know what I mean
I drink my whiskey out the bottle
Keep my foot on the throttle
I just wanna rock girl, I don't wanna cuddle.
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,
We can have a good time together,

Man life's a funny thing
The ups and downs and the... brings
The hard aches you get from chasing your dreams
You spend your whole life trying to make it
You finally get the chance so you take it
Not realizing how much is about to change
And the consequences that come with this thang
... thing of the past
No time to slow down cause you're moving fast
Gotta keep it moving don't know how long it will last
People saying it ain't the same as before
People thinking you ain't the same no more
But ain't nothing change, just make the call
I'll be at your door cause
True friends are friends to the very end
And don't let days come between them
I could be a million miles from nowhere, nowhere
But when the shit goes down I'll be right there
Whenever you need, whenever you need
You better believe I'ma be right there
I could be a million miles from nowhere, nowhere
But when the shit goes down I'll be right there
Whenever you need, whenever you need
You better believe I'ma be right there
I ran away for so long and I'm feeling sickly
On the road, I can't see in L.A. where my kids be
I know they miss me, while I'm out making history
... when I'm coming home it's a mystery
I'm doing shows now, but if it goes down
... angel, they won't be given a whole cloud
Cause I can... taking my foes down
Come around goes round, nobody knows...
When it come to my babies then I go stupid and crazy
Thinking up anything, they got so many dreams
That's why I'm... became the city king
... I can be a million miles away trust me
When my babies in need...
All of my family because they love me
When... appear, I will be right there...
I could be a million miles from nowhere, nowhere
But when the shit goes down I'll be right there
Whenever you need, whenever you need
You better believe I'ma be right there
I could be a million miles from nowhere, nowhere
But when the shit goes down I'll be right there
Whenever you need, whenever you need
You better believe I'ma be right there
Don't let them try to tell you otherwise
Don't let them try to fill you head with those lies
I still remain the same, I don't get changed...
I wish I could be home every day, never never have to go away
But you know I can't make a living that way
Nobody knows it ain't a doing... truly
I'm in love with this music, I got a quest to prove I'm one of the best
I refuse to give up just like the rest
Sorry, I gotta pick up with this moment
Don't worry, you gotta be strong
Cause all it takes it's one call, that's it
And I promise I'll be... quick
Don't ever... guss, you better believe it
I could be a million miles from nowhere, nowhere
But when the shit goes down I'll be right there
Whenever you need, whenever you need
You better believe I'ma be right there
I could be a million miles from nowhere, nowhere
But when the shit goes down I'll be right there
Whenever you need, whenever you need
You better believe I'ma be right there
I could be a million miles from nowhere, nowhere
I could be a million miles from nowhere, nowhere
